A day in your life with us
As a co-worker in an IKEA sales department, you meet the customers and inspire them with affordable and smart interior design solutions with a strong focus on a sustainable lifestyle. We offer a large range of home furnishing and furnishing accessories to take directly home.
We are looking to hire employees for various departments, and we hope you can envision yourself in one of the following areas: Children, Bedrooms and textiles.
Your daily tasks will include:
• Advising and inspiring our customers based on their individual needs and desires
• Handling goods and setting up sales areas to ensure that products are easily accessible to customers
• Ensuring that displays and the department always appear presentable and inspiring
• Collaborating with other functions and departments within the store.

Additional information
• The working hours are on average 8-15 hours per week, according to the rules for flexible part-time work described in the HK Trade Agreement. This means that you are guaranteed 8 hours per week on average and that the working hours cannot exceed 15 hours per week on average. Please ensure that you meet the conditions for being employed on a flexible part-time basis.
• Your working hours will primarily be during the store’s opening hours, and you should expect to have 1-2 closing shifts per week and work every other weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. You will have the opportunity to provide input on the work schedule.
• Salary according to HK’s retail agreement, including pension and free-choice account as well as supplements for staggered hours.
• We have various staff benefits including private health insurance, massage, canteen, staff discount, discount club with external partners, yearly gift, bonus etc.
• During the hiring process, you may be required to present a criminal record.
• Desired start date is December 1, 2024, or by agreement.
