We are excited to invite you to join our dynamic Food Team at IKEA Cardiff as the Swedish Food Market & Bistro Manager.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and inspire a team dedicated to delivering an exceptional Swedish culinary experience to our customers. Your passion for food and experience as a leader will create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for the many.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Competitive salary beginning at £26,739.00 per annum.
• 39 hours a week, working 5 days over 7, which includes alternate weekends and two late shifts a week.
• Working hours vary and will fall between the times of 07:00am and 22:00pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

You will contribute to a passionate and friendly team to deliver a better everyday life for the many, while embracing change with a solution-orientated mindset. This is a fast-paced working environment and requires you to multitask, producing and serving food with regular heavy lifting.

You have experience managing and leading in a retail environment with demonstrated success in driving sales growth. You are a true customer advocate who provides rapid solutions with a smile on your face.

• You are genuinely interested in sales and are motivated by fulfilling customer needs.
• You have experience of serving customers in a vibrant retail environment.
• You enjoy and have experience in leading and developing a team.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Knowing the IKEA Food range and presenting its width and depth in ways that inspire our visitors and optimise sales.
• Ensuring that the Swedish Food Market is in excellent shape and fully stocked at all times, always keeping customers in focus.
• Motivating and developing your team.
• Promoting a safety first culture by ensuring that daily work routines are in place and followed in all daily work.
