As Purchasing Development, we purchase the materials and the production capacity to produce both home furnishing products and food. We have more than 1,200 co-workers global wide and operates in 27 locations, this includes 6 category areas and Wood Supply & Forestry.

The Product Engineer is responsible to lead the development and implementation of new products, the moves of products from one supplier to another one and the improvement of existing products based on quality performances and customer expectations.

As a part of Category Area Textile Furnishing, you will have access to a huge knowledge base and experience in both leadership and textiles materials, production and value chain. We offer trust and space to test and try, explore, make mistakes and learn from it, and develop us and our partners. 

To be successful in this role, below competences are important for you.

For this position holder it is important to know how to build and maintain business relations, having excellent communication skills, being a good team worker and empathetic, respecting values and being persistent. You are able to prioritize. Easy adaptation to changes and willingness to take responsibility is also necessary.

• A background in Textile engineering, quality and product/production development
• Preferably having an engineering education and at least 7-10 years of relevant working experience
• Good communicative skills and speak fluent English
• Preferred knowledge of product development tools
• Proactive approach

This position will be based in Bangalore, India.
