    ABOUT YOU:

    • 2-3 years of managerial experience in People & Culture (Human Resources),
    • proficient in planning, attracting, identifying, recruiting, developing, rewarding, and supporting both co-workers and leaders in their careers,
    • ability to gather and transform information to prioritize People & Culture initiatives,
    • strong skills in setting expectations, providing clear direction, creating and managing long-term plans, setting budgets, goals, and monitoring KPIs,
    • capable of transitioning from a strategic perspective to specific actions,
    • adaptable to a dynamic environment and experienced in leading organizational change,
    • acts as an IKEA values Ambassador, leading by example and sharing values with co-workers,
    • passionate about people and dedicated to unlocking their potential for contributing to business results and a positive co-worker experience,
    • strong leadership qualities, managing multiple priorities, initiatives, interfaces, and tasks,
    • excellent networking skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships,
    • committed to developing and delivering business results by optimizing performance through people,
    • applies business knowledge and leverages digital best practices to achieve organizational goals and objectives,
    • knowledge of the Success Factors program or its equivalent (nice to have),
    • fluent (spoken and written) in Polish and English.



    ABOUT THE JOB:

    As People & Culture (Human Resources) Manager, you'll be a partner for the Market Manager and provide support to a team of managers. You will also lead the People & Culture team in a way that will translate human resource management strategies into activities that enable you to achieve the goal of the function in the most effective and efficient way possible. Through your actions, you'll create a work environment where IKEA values and culture are alive and present.



    YOUR ROLE:

    • integral member of the store management team and partner to the Market Manager in all People & Culture-related matters,
    • manage, develop, and inspire the People & Culture and store management team with the goal of providing employees with the best experience,
    • contribute to the development of local competencies and business results alongside the store management team by setting and working towards goals,
    • provide store-level development and training with the support of the People & Culture Business Partner or Market Area Learning Delivery Specialist,
    • ensure compliance of local activities with IKEA Group documents (Code of Conduct, Policies, Standards, Rules) and regulations, as well as legal requirements relevant to the function's operations,
    • plan staff and work schedules in accordance with IKEA employment standards,
    • implement an effective employee relations plan, ensuring compliance with employment relations principles, procedures, laws, and local standards in all local interactions with employees,
    • ensure consistency, positive reception, and alignment with IKEA values in internal communication,
    • promote IKEA values, culture, and leadership by setting an example.
