IKEA Carrickmines are looking to welcome a Food Store Assistant to join our fantastic team.
You’ll support customers, work across departments, and help keep the store running like clockwork — with full training included. If you’re organised, friendly, and enjoy a clean, well‑kept space, we’d love to have you.
WHAT WE OFFER
• The Start Date of employment will be: 21st September • Competitive hourly rate of €15.70 per hour. • 24 Hours working 5 days over 7 with every 2nd weekend off. It is essential that you have Tuesday availability for this role. Shifts will be between the hours of 8am and 7pm. • We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• You have a positive approach, love multi-tasking, and are enthusiastic about being part of the team and can work without supervision. • You have a customer first mindset and love the versatility of working in a different area each day, making the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do. • You are computer literate and able to work with technology. • You prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• You will primarily be based within the Food function, supporting deliveries, while also providing support across other functions within the unit as required. • You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers working across various departments throughout the day, supporting customers to find the best solutions for their life at home. • You are excited about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design, keen to share this with our customers. • You support maximising sales by ensuring your areas of responsibility are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
