  • Who you are

    You have experience in Finance Operations, particularly in Accounts Payable (AP), Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, and/or Indirect Taxes.

    You are interested in expanding your knowledge of indirect taxation while helping ensure compliant, efficient, and high-quality finance operations in an international setting

    You are curious, detail-oriented and comfortable investigating transactional issues and identifying opportunities for improvement.

    You work collaboratively with different stakeholders and enjoy supporting operational teams by providing clear guidance and practical solutions.

    You have a good understanding of indirect taxes, such as VAT and GST, and an interest in further developing your knowledge in this area.

    You'll contribute to delivering the 3Es: Effectiveness, Efficiency and Experience, while supporting Ingka's ambition to become a lower-cost company through simplification, standardization and automation.

    You have a University degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

    You possess strong analytical, communication, Excel and reporting skills.

    A day in your life with us

    • Support Finance Operations teams in applying indirect tax rules and requirements correctly in day-to-day business transactions.
    • Review transactions and invoices, identifying risks and opportunities to improve tax compliance.
    • Perform tax controls, sample testing, and data reviews to help maintain a strong tax control environment.
    • Investigate tax exceptions and work with operational teams to identify root causes and support corrective actions.
    • Provide practical guidance to Accounts Payable and other business stakeholders on indirect tax-related operational questions.
    • Support the implementation of changes in indirect tax regulations by updating processes, documentation, and ways of working.
    • Monitor and manage assigned tax-related activities and queries within SAP and other finance systems.
    • Deliver indirect tax training and awareness sessions to Accounts Payable teams, helping build tax knowledge and promote compliant ways of working.
    • Maintain tax procedures, manuals, and knowledge base materials to support consistent ways of working.
    • Support audits, reporting activities, tax engine testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with local tax teams, Finance Operations colleagues, and global stakeholders on tax-related topics.

    Specific responsibilities
    • Extract and analyze reports and data from finance systems.
    • Escalate complex tax issues to senior experts as required.
    • Document findings, root causes, and corrective actions.
    • Support onboarding and tax knowledge-sharing initiatives.
    • Contribute to maintaining accurate tax documentation and process guidance.
