    We're looking for an energetic and people-focused Sales Team Leader to lead our Outdoor Furniture and Self Serve (Warehouse Sales) areas at IKEA Tempe.     Additional Information:
    • This role is Permanent, Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight
    • This role requires availability to work a spread of hours from 8:00am - 10:00pm weekdays and alternating weekends (both Saturday and Sunday)

    Recruitment Process Overview:
    •Video screening interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a brief pre-recorded video interview.
    • Hiring team interview: Candidates who progress to the next stage will be invited to attend an in-person interview.

    About this work area

    As the Sales Team Leader for Outdoor Furniture and Self Serve, you'll lead a team responsible for helping customers bring their outdoor living dreams to life while ensuring a seamless shopping journey from inspiration through to product collection.

    You'll combine commercial leadership with operational excellence, driving sales performance, maintaining strong stock availability, and ensuring customers can easily search, find, choose and buy from our range.

    As Sales Team Leader your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team, creating an inclusive and motivating work environment.
    • Drive sales growth across the Outdoor Furniture range through strong commercial planning, customer insight and market awareness.
    • Ensure customers receive an exceptional shopping experience, from product selection through to collection in the Self Serve area.
    • Monitor sales, stock levels, customer feedback and key business metrics to identify opportunities and improve performance.
    • Partner with store stakeholders to execute commercial priorities, seasonal activities and promotional campaigns.
    • Maintain excellent range presentation, stock availability and operational standards throughout the department.
    • Build product expertise within your team so co-workers can confidently support customers and actively sell solutions.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes, improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs
