    What you need to know

    • $28.31 base hourly pay rate + penalty rates from 6pm (public holidays, and late nights).
    • $42.47 *weekends up to hourly rate

    • These roles are Permanent Part-time.

    • The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-worker
    • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
    • Wednesday to Sunday afternoons and evenings required

    About this work area

    As an IKEA Cook Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised
    • Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
    • Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.



    As an IKEA Cook Co-worker you have:
    • Experienced with working in an extremely fast paced, hands-on environment.
    • Previous hospitality experience is highly regarded.
    • Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
    • Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
