    We are building a newly transforming Finance department at IKEA Czech Republic and are looking for several specialists to join us and grow with the team.

    You like working with tax topics, but you also understand the business behind them. You’re comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and collaborating with others. You don’t need to be an expert in every tax area. What matters most is your curiosity, sense of responsibility, and motivation to learn. If you enjoy working with taxes and want to grow your expertise in a supportive environment, you’ll feel at home here.

    - You have solid experience in various tax areas (CIT, VAT, WHT) with a strong focus on compliance and accuracy.
    - You’re detail-oriented, reliable, and analytical, with a natural ability to meet deadlines.
    - You’re comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
    - You enjoy sharing your expertise and contributing to broader financial and compliance goals.
    - You communicate confidently in both Czech and English.
    - Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba is an advantage

    Your responsibilities

    As Tax Specialist CZ, you’ll make sure IKEA meets all tax obligations in the Czech Republic accurately, on time, and in line with local laws and internal standards.

    Your main focus areas will include:

    - Corporate Income Tax– calculation and coordination of the process with External Advisors if needed
    - VAT - preparing tax returns, preparing control statement and Instrastat
    - Transfer Pricing – applying rules correctly, issuing invoices, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
    - Pillar 2 & CBCR – supporting global tax compliance and Safe Harbour calculations
    - Treasury tasks – handling liquidity reviews, internal loans, and cash flow forecasting
    - Other taxes – support in withholding tax, property tax, customs duties, road tax, excise tax

    You’ll also offer daily tax guidance, support audits and tax-related projects, and act as a contact for external advisors and group tax teams.
