    About the Role

    For Real Estate Procurement, this means:
    • A strong focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
    • Build up and increased use of lifecycle frame agreements and efficient call-off processes
    • A robust and structured supplier management framework
    • Fully responsible for IWAY and Sustainability

    What “Front-Led” Means to Us
    Being front-led means having a deep understanding of both our Real Estate business and the wider industry. Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued:
    • Construction sourcing, including fit-outs and FM hard service, lifecycle frame agreements, supplier management, call-offs and IWAY & sustainability initiatives.
    • Facility services, supplier management, integrated facility management and IWAY & sustainability initiatives.
    • Energy procurement, lifecycle frame agreements, supplier management, call-offs and IWAY & sustainability initiatives.

    Collaboration & Flexibility
    While each role has a primary category focus, we operate as one collaborative procurement team. You are expected to be flexible and contribute across categories when needed, supporting business priorities and ensuring continuity.

    Competences
    a. KNOWLEDGE
    •Good knowledge of IKEA business model, the strategic landscape and IKEA ways of working
    • Strong knowledge in sourcing and procurement practices and related processes
    • Good knowledge of industry and market specific conditions for Category
    • Good knowledge of project management methods & processes
    • Strong supplier management and supplier development knowledge
    • Strong financial knowledge
    • Good legal knowledge
    • Good knowledge of cost drivers and the value chain of relevant Category and
    industry
    • Broad knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a
    better everyday life for the many people

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Build and maintain trustful relationships with business owners to align plans and drive performance and results.
    • Implement Category Plans by executing relevant action plans.
    • Execute sourcing projects according to the Source-to-Pay process and SAP Ariba, ensuring a strategic and
    professional approach to sourcing, using excellent negotiation skills to optimise and drive out costs and
    consider the end user for effective call off options as well as optimal invoicing channel.
    • Responsible to drive supplier management and supplier performance securing compliance of IWAY and the
    Code of Conduct
    • Continuously monitor the supplier market and give input to business owners on sourcing options, supplier
    market, market trends and contribute to the development of the Category Plans.
    • Deliver business priorities by collaboration with colleagues across departments as one cross-functional team
    • Responsible for the implementation and communication of the procurement strategy/category plan/strategic
    direction within the markets and/or categories.
    • Ensure added value and relevant solutions to meet customers' needs.
