Are you ready to put in the next gear of preparing IKEA for future needs?

We are looking for Team Manager for 3D and Virtual Product Development.

In Range, we put the product in the center. Our business is about developing products, it’s the very core of what we do. We are passionate about home furnishing and the business we are in and are enthusiastic about solving real needs in people’s homes.

We are now looking for a Team Manager in the 3D and Virtual Product Development team.  You’ll lead a team of co-workers focusing on business development and digital transformation by taking advantage of digital opportunities. You will be responsible for leading the successful implementation and adoption of virtual products in IKEA. You will be part of the tactical area network for virtual products and will report directly to the prototype shop manager.


Qualification

We believe that you:

  • have good understanding of 3D modelling, CAD techniques and digital development in the context of product development,
  • have demonstrated coaching leadership, 
  • are driven by innovative development within home furnishing, range and products and have a passion for technology trends and digital development opportunities,
  • have strong ability to lead business, deliver results through involving and engaging people, 
  • have strong ability to manage stakeholders and actively drive synergies across IKEA, 
  • have good interpersonal communication skills: active listening, coaching and facilitating. You communicate in a clear, structured and honest way.

This is a permanent role based in Älmhult.

The Team Manager is crucial for developing a successful team and business, and we believe that your presence with the team and working the majority of the time in the workplace is important.
