Why we will love you
We are looking for a Purchaser for our Financial Services category team. The Financial Services category is responsible for the sourcing of financial services including Acquiring banks, Customer Payments, Customer and Business Finance and Insurances. In this position, you will be the primary commercial interface towards the suppliers and help to develop category strategies to support the Ingka Group on a global basis.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have a very good understanding of the dynamics in projects and driving business on a global level with multiple stakeholders. It comes natural to you to build and maintain good relationships with both colleagues and business contacts. You have a strong business mind-set with an openness to change, looking for new possibilities and improving ways of working.

We also see that you have:

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or corresponding
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of delivering success within international purchasing organisations, preferably within the area of Financial Services (bank, payments, financing, leasing, insurances) OR several years’ experience as a professional in the finance or insurance sector with a keen interest to move into the procurement space.
• Good analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Project management skills
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Your responsibilities
You will also be responsible to drive large-scale procurement initiatives, which include supplier selections, commercial negotiations and building supplier relationships where you, together with the Ingka team, will secure the best buy for Ingka Group.

An important part of your role is to build trustful relations with the business partners and together you will develop the business. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of strategies by following the procurement process. Further you will secure governance of strategic supplier relationships and secure that the suppliers are complying with our sustainability directives and IKEA code of conduct.

Financial & Insurance Services is one of the three categories within Category Area Professional Services. Other categories are HR services and Advisory & Consultancy Services

Each category is responsible for the entire Source-to-Pay process, for supplier management and contract maintenance. All categories are working both globally and locally, and some support is provided for suppliers used by Inter IKEA Group.

In our category, we are a small team of Purchasers and a Category Leader.

This position is based in Malmö, Sweden and you will report to Category Manager.
