Are you ready to put in the next gear of moving IKEA and making us better together? 

We are looking for a Team Manager responsible for the Business Analysts in Data and Technology Range. 

In Core Business Range, we are on a journey to transform our digital capabilities by embracing the opportunities from data & and technology and integrating them into the business. To be able to develop IKEA as an even more affordable, sustainable, and accessible home furnishing retailer in an omnichannel environment, we need to bring people, processes, data, and technology closer together. Working together will be critical in reaching our strategic goals and it will demand leadership that goes across functions and organizations, to always have the totality of IKEA in mind.  

In Data & Technology Range the Business Analysts today work in several Digital Product Areas (domains): Product Engineering, Range Management, Commercial, Range Interaction and Range Experience. All responsible for different capabilities crucial to be able to ideate, develop, produce, supply and in the end sell our IKEA products to our customers.  

Who are you? 

We are looking for someone passionate about home furnishing and the business we’re in and enthusiastic about solving real needs in people’s homes. You will be important in our journey where we have decided to dare to be IKEA, optimize for relevance and have the best possible products at lowest possible price. 

We are now looking for a Team manager responsible for the team of Business Analysts. As a Team manager, you will work closely with the Business Analysts, supporting them and their assignment to bring value for IKEA. The Business Analyst competence supports digital products across the value chain and you will co-lead this with current Team Manager.  

You are responsible for creating a solid base of competencies needed for reaching our goals, supporting both running business and future needs. You will lead, coach and develop Business Analysts together with the Team Manager, and ensure a developing culture and supportive atmosphere. 

You will report to the Team Manager for Business Analysts and work in close collaboration with all other Competence hubs- and Functional managers in Data & Technology.  


Qualification

To be successful in this role, we expect you have 

  • Experience in leadership. Ability to lead, coach, inspire and empower teams and individuals, to be optimized for the desired outcomes. Both internal and external resources. 

  • Knowledge in the competence area of Business Analysis and how to grow the competence.  

  • Knowledgeable in agile principles and ways of working in a digital team. 

  • Strong ability to communicate and act as a communication bridge between diverse business and digital competences. 

  • Strong capability to visualize concepts and ideas to build understanding and agreement on the way forward. 

  • Ability to build strong relations with peers and stakeholders, comfortable with complex prioritization and situations, and cross functional leadership. 

  • Manage vendors and contract management. Resource plan short and long term.
