What you'll be doing day to day

• Be a food safety and compliance ambassador every place and time at work.
• Responsible for developing and implementing compliance and food safety framework, standards, WoW (way of working) and tools in Customer Meeting Points.
• Take active role in supporting the process of food safety and compliance audits.
• Ensure regular HACCP/ISO certification and actively be part of HACCP team and contribute to it’s agenda.
• Ensure implementation of internal compliance standards as well as ASC/MSC procedures and implementation of those standards accross all food areas.
• Secure clear instore communication on food safety and compliance.
• Liaise with external companies and authorities ensuring food safety compliance and verification activities (e.g. HACCP certification, microbiological or other food safety related analyses or tests).
• Support stakeholders on ensuring implementation of local legal legislation on product specification, labbeling, import (if applicable) and other related processes.
• Be an active partner to the store commercial team by securing the food safety compliance in all food activities and events.
• Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within Food to secure ”ONE IKEA FOOD” integration and common goal approach among all food areas.
• Ensure competence in food safety and compliance co-worker.
• Be an active player in working on sustainability within food by monitoring waste processes and supporting waste reduction initiatives.
• Contributes in the implementation of the global and national strategies (affordability, accessibility, people & planet).
