    We are looking for a senior system engineer to join us in developing ways for IKEA to stay relevant for our customers. You are confident leading technical discussions, influencing decisions, and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

    The must-haves we see for this role are:
    • 8+ years proven experience working with device management in large, global enterprise environments[HJ1.1]
    • 8+ years of proven experience in End User Computing
    • Deep technical knowledge of endpoint and device management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or similar)
    • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across time zones

    A day in your life with us

    You’ll be a vital part of the transformation of IKEA into a more front-line-obsessed company by ensuring that we provide device offerings that are both cost-efficient and fit for purpose for our co-workers globally. You will lead the technical agenda and evolution of enterprise device platforms and services covering areas such as laptops, desktops, kiosk touch devices, and print solutions.

    This means that you will:

    • Be a technical mentor and role model, supporting knowledge sharing and engineering excellence within the team
    • Lead the promotion and advocacy of good engineering practices and architectural strategies
    • Collaborate with product owners to translate business and co-worker needs into technical outcomes and a clear value narrative
    • Partner with service integrators to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement

    You will work in Group Function Digital Area. The Digital Area – Group Functions is a new area built to strengthen digital partnership and delivery across all Group Functions and Global Business Operations (GBO). We develop and deliver digital capabilities across key areas like Retail, Finance, People & Culture, Procurement, Legal, Business Risk & Compliance, Communications, Real Estate, Business Steering in Ingkas global organisation.
