We work across dozen different areas, jointly supporting the everyday operation of IKEA stores. We are responsible e.g. for the preparation and implementation of national strategies and adaptation of global ones, the introduction of new tools, as well as the implementation of national and international projects. We're looking for construction and procurement experts who can turn complex projects into opportunities for IKEA. If you have a thorough understanding of the market, good communication skills and an interest in innovation, your profile is of interest to us.
TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE:
• You have experience in construction procurement and excellent market knowledge.
• Your project management skills are top-notch.
• You approach business relationships factually and have significant experience in supplier relations.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities are your strengths.
• You are familiar with data analysis tools, including SAP Ariba.
• You are proficient in both written and spoken English and Polish.
• You understand the big picture, always acting in the customer’s best interest while considering IKEA’s values and overall mission. You can identify and capitalize on business opportunities, drive results by involving people, and establish trustworthy long-term partnerships. Taking initiative and adapting to a rapidly evolving environment are also part of your skill set.
YOUR ROLE:
In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of action plans in compliance with the group’s procurement process. You will build long-term partnerships by enhancing supplier performance. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal clients to identify needs and opportunities. For this position, you will report directly to the Country Purchasing Manager.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Taking full responsibility for monitoring and securing the group’s procurement process.
• Establishing trusted long-term partnerships with key suppliers and business partners.
• Ensuring compliance with Ingka’s code of conduct.
• Managing suppliers and their performance.
• Providing insights on sourcing options, supplier markets, market trends, and contributing to category/procurement plan development through proactive market monitoring.
• Communicating directly and inclusively, actively listening to gather information, advice, and support.
• Cooperating with team members and other units to identify synergies, explore improvement opportunities, and achieve common goals.
• Demonstrating willingness and contributing to change by taking necessary actions and adapting to new circumstances.
• Analyzing business needs, identifying and reducing unnecessary costs, and developing standards in cooperation with business partners.
• Continuously monitoring industry developments, supplier market dynamics, and cost factors to discover new business opportunities and explore innovation potential.
