We are looking to welcome new Inventory Assistants to join our Fulfilment Integration Team at Nottingham IKEA.

We’re the team behind the scenes that make the IKEA products available to the many people. As a diverse mix of co-workers we use our supply process expertise to balance range and space capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide customers with high availability while minimizing costs. WHAT WE OFFER:

• Start Date of employment will be: 13th of October
• Competitive hourly rate of £12 per hour with nightshift allowance of £2.25 between 10pm to 6am.
• Living Wage Foundation Employer
• 20 hours weekly, working 5 days out of 7 & 3 out of 4 weekends per month.
• Working between 3am - 9am
• We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:

• Good interpersonal skills
• Flexible and adaptable
• Ability to change priority and direction at short notice
• Able to work under pressure
• Numerate and literate and has basic Microsoft Office knowledge
• Pays attention to detail
• Previous experience of WMS and/or Distribution Systems would be an advantage
• Previous experience of MHE i.e. Reach, Scissor lift, Counterbalance would be an advantage


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Responsible for physical stock taking by:
- Carrying out actual physical stock counting in the correct way
- Registering counted quantities
- Analyzing stock taking results and sending them to ISAG every tertial under the legal document DSP
• Must set a definite time frame for completion of the stock taking (yearly PI)
• Take responsibility for teamwork and support your colleagues
• Communicate effectively within your team
• With your personal behavior you contribute to a better working environment (respect others)
• Take an active part in the development of operational processes
• Collect and file operational data
• Replenishment the sales locations dependent on outcome of stock take.
