Who you are

The Solution Delivery Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing digital projects and transformations within a complex ecosystem. This role fosters strong collaboration with teams and stakeholders across multiple business functions. You will lead digital teams within the People domain (HR) and collaborate across Digital Domains and Business Functions to deliver comprehensive solutions on time and within budget. You will plan and execute projects, motivate teams, and manage risks with a proactive, problem-solving approach while maintaining a focus on business values.

You are passionate about meeting new requirements and delivering outcomes for business stakeholders and technology operations. A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, you ensure a common understanding of requirements, statuses, and challenges based on data and logic. You thrive on working both independently and collaboratively across functions and embody the IKEA culture and values. You are a strategic thinker with expertise in functional or technology areas and have a proven track record in leading teams and delivering medium to large projects on the SuccessFactors platform. Your resourcefulness, resilience, communication skills, problem-solving, and a strong sense of ownership enable you to find constructive solutions and navigate complex scenarios with agility.

Experience
- Over 15 years of experience in SuccessFactors and ERP ecosystems, with 7+ years in delivering complex, multi-country projects.
- Strong expertise in HR platforms, particularly within the retail domain, with deep knowledge of at least one HR module and senior roles experience.
- Proficient in project management and agile frameworks, with a proven ability to plan, execute, and manage risks for predictable project outcomes.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and manage cross-functional dependencies for holistic project delivery.
- Hands-on experience with SuccessFactors and UKG/Legion programs.
- Skilled in building comprehensive project plans across technology, data, change management, and business workstreams.
- Strong decision-making capabilities based on facts and logic, fostering collaboration and alignment among teams.
- Ability to challenge supplier solutions with robust techno-functional knowledge and delivery capability.

Your responsibilities

As the Solution Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for

- Delivering projects, initiatives, and transformations on time, within scope and at high quality.
- Ensure the successful implementation and deployment of HR platform solutions that meet business requirements, aligning the HR platform architecture with organisational strategies and future growth plans.
- Ensure solutions, projects, and programs are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with zero defects.
- Apply deep expertise in various methodologies to drive outcomes and enable business value through practical, simple, and cost-conscious actions.
- As a hands-on delivery manager, oversee end-to-end processes from planning to go-live and beyond.
- Lead a team within a matrix organisation, coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Utilise strong communication skills for effective stakeholder communication, project reporting, and providing timely visibility and transparency to teams, leadership, and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Identification and Relationship Cultivation: Identify key stakeholders and their needs, interests, and expectations. Cultivate strong relationships with business stakeholders, clients, internal teams, and external partners.

Effective Communication and Feedback Management: Utilize effective communication skills to drive clarity and purpose, actively listen, and ensure stakeholders are informed of project progress, risks, and opportunities. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and leverage feedback to drive improvements and maintain high satisfaction levels.

Building High-Performing Teams: Collaborate with functional line managers to recruit and hire individuals with the right skills and cultural fit, creating a cohesive and talented team. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide opportunities for professional development and skill-building, and empower team members to take ownership of their responsibilities and contribute to the project's overall success.
