Who you areLook around: you might find an IKEA product. Our logistics team is responsible for the entire process of moving IKEA products: from when they arrive at our warehouse to our customers' homes. Have we aroused your curiosity? Good! Let's continue.
At IKEA we believe that everyone has talent. Therefore, we expect our candidates to have:
• Interest in learning more about retail operations, inventory management and logistics systems;
• Common sense to make decisions, based on a clear analysis of the available information;
• Ability to work at a tactical and operational level, as well as to put things into practice and optimize processes;
• I enjoy working as a team and establishing relationships based on trust, through clear and objective communication;
• Motivation to deal with the customer and guarantee the best possible purchasing experience;
• Entrepreneurial spirit to look for new ways of doing things that add value to the team and the business, in the context of omnichannel operations.
A day in your life with us
The Logistics department plays a very important role in ensuring a good experience for our customers. We are organized into three areas, with different responsibilities:
• Replenishment - We ensure the availability of products for our customers, in partnership with teams from other areas, anticipating stock needs in accordance with sales forecasts and the commercial calendar;
• Picking - We collect, pack and deliver orders directly to our customer in store, or prepare shipping through the transport service;
• Loading and Unloading - We receive products and replace them in the respective sales areas, using pallet trucks and/or forklifts.
Together as a team
Inspired by our Swedish roots and humanistic vision, at IKEA we have a unique culture. We believe that all people have value, regardless of any dimension of their identity - diversity is an asset to our business.
We value the spirit of unity and informality. Therefore, it is very likely that you will feel at home here!
We really want to create a better everyday life for our customers. And for our co-workers.
So, these are some of the benefits we offer:
• Co-workers Restaurant: space dedicated to co-workers, with diverse and healthy options, for a complete meal at an affordable price (mouth-watering!)
• Schedules communicated in advance so that it is easier to reconcile work with your personal life (studies, hobbies, work, or even doing nothing...)
• Social and psychological support through the CÖNTIGO program;
• Annual bonus to celebrate the joint effort to grow the business;
• Discounts and benefits in partnerships: gyms, technology, cosmetics, hotels, travel, etc.;
• Opportunities for ongoing online, in-class and on-the-job training to explore your potential.
Working at IKEA is much more than a job.
