  • At IKEA Copenhagen, we're looking for a new Sales Co-worker to join the departments on our lower floor: Lighting, Shelving & Storage, Textiles and Rugs. This is a 30-hour-per-week position, offering a varied working day in a dynamic environment where no two days are exactly the same.

As a Sales Co-worker, you'll become part of a team where there's always something going on and where we support each other every step of the way. Your most important task is to create an inspiring and helpful experience for our customers - whether you're advising them, ensuring the department always looks inviting, or something entirely different.

Some of your tasks may include:
    • Advising and guiding customers
    • Ensuring an inspiring and attractive shopping environment
    • Collaborating with colleagues across departments

You don't need to know everything from day one – we'll make sure you receive the training you need.

    Why we will love you

    • You enjoy working with sales and creating great customer experiences
    • You're approachable and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • You're flexible and able to work day, evening and weekend shifts
    • You're comfortable communicating in English, as we're an international workplace

At IKEA, your previous experience is not what matters most - it's who you are as a person. Your energy, curiosity and desire to make a difference for our customers mean far more.

    Our team within IKEA

You'll be part of a team of both full-time and part-time co-workers who work closely together across departments. As Lighting, Shelving & Storage, Textiles and Rugs all belong to the same manager area, you'll move between all of them, giving you a varied workday with many different tasks and opportunities to collaborate.

We have a strong team spirit where we support one another and work together to get things done. There's room to be exactly who you are, while building valuable relationships and becoming part of a great social community.

    • Your working hours will primarily be scheduled during the store's opening hours. You should expect 1–2 closing shifts per week and to work every other weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, within the time frame 09:00-20:30. You'll have the opportunity to provide input to your work schedule.
    • Salary and benefits are in accordance with the HK retail collective agreement, including pension, flexible benefits and shift allowances.
    • We offer a variety of employee benefits, including private health insurance, massage arrangements, staff canteen, employee discount, partner discounts, annual gifts and bonus schemes.
