    We are looking for a Service Portfolio Leader to join us in developing ways for IKEA to stay relevant for our customers.

    • Operate comfortably at an enterprise level, maintaining a holistic view across services, products, platforms, operations and emerging technology trends, while staying grounded in delivery realities.
    • Naturally connect strategy to execution, translating business ambitions into clear, prioritized roadmaps that balance value, cost, risk, capacity and dependencies.
    • Have a strong understanding of service portfolio management and know how to turn business needs, strategic priorities and technology capabilities into a coherent portfolio roadmap.
    • Understand service lifecycle management and can ensure services remain relevant, measurable and aligned with evolving business needs.
    • Are equally strong in shaping what we do and how we measure it, using data, insights and disciplined follow-up to keep roadmaps visible, actionable and outcome-focused.
    • Have experience establishing portfolio governance practices and enabling informed decision-making through meaningful performance metrics and reporting.
    • Are comfortable engaging senior leaders and managers, framing complex choices, driving clarity and facilitating timely decisions.
    • Enjoy working across complex stakeholder landscapes and are skilled at building trusted relationships with service delivery leaders, product teams, architects, engineers, business partners, vendors and markets.
    • Possess a broad understanding of enterprise architecture and technology landscapes, enabling you to challenge, guide and align decisions across services, platforms and products.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to business and digital leadership, simplifying complexity and communicating portfolio, roadmap and technology decisions in a clear and meaningful way.
    • Bring sound judgement, balancing strategic ambitions, business value, risk, cost and operational realities when providing recommendations.
    • Lead through influence, creating alignment, transparency and shared accountability across teams without relying on formal authority.
    • Are motivated by building a strong, sustainable digital foundation, delivering long-term business value rather than isolated outcomes.
    • Are curious and forward-looking, staying close to industry and technology trends and translating them into practical direction and measurable value.

    The must-haves we see for this role are though:
    • 10+ years of experience in IT Services, Product Management, Service Management or Portfolio Management.
    • 5+ years of experience leading service portfolios, products, programmes or strategic technology initiatives.
    • Proven experience developing portfolio strategies, governance models and performance management frameworks.
    • Strong knowledge of service portfolio management, service lifecycle management and service management practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across business and technology without formal authority.
    • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or a related field.

    A day in your life with us

    As a Service Portfolio Leader, you will enable the strategic evolution of the service portfolio supporting the People Planning, Communication & Sustainability Domain. Working closely with Sub-Domain Managers, Senior Service Delivery Leaders and Product & Platform Delivery Managers (PPDMs), you will ensure the portfolio delivers business value, remains aligned with strategic priorities and continuously evolves to meet changing business needs.

    More specifically, you will:

    Shape and evolve the service portfolio
    • Develop and maintain the service portfolio roadmap aligned with business objectives, customer needs and technology strategy
    • Partner with Sub-Domain Managers and PPDMs to identify opportunities for service enhancements, portfolio optimization and new service offerings
    • Facilitate portfolio planning, prioritization, and lifecycle management to enable strategic decision-making and value realization
    Enable portfolio governance and performance management
    • Establish and continuously improve portfolio governance processes, decision frameworks and ways of working
    • Define, monitor, and communicate portfolio health through KPIs, SLAs, customer satisfaction measures and service adoption metrics
    • Conduct portfolio reviews, provide actionable insights, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven recommendations
    • Ensure service catalogue information remains accurate, relevant and aligned with portfolio objectives
    Facilitate stakeholder alignment and collaboration
    • Act as a trusted advisor to Platform Domain Managers, Sub-Domain Managers, and PPDMs, enabling effective portfolio decisions and strategic alignment
    • Build strong relationships across business and digital functions to understand evolving needs and translate them into portfolio opportunities
    • Present portfolio strategies, business cases, performance insights, financial efficiency and recommendations to senior stakeholders
    • Support the resolution of portfolio-related risks, issues, dependencies and service performance concerns
    Drive service excellence and portfolio health
    • Identify portfolio-level risks and collaborate with stakeholders to establish mitigation plans.
    • Promote service management best practices, service transparency and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
    • Collaborate with vendors and internal partners to address portfolio-related risks and service delivery considerations.

The Group Function Digital Area is a new function built to strengthen digital partnership and delivery across all Markets, Group Functions and Global Business Operations (GBO).
