    Your responsibilities

    • Your working base is the shop floor, where you lead by example every day by supporting, challenging, and coaching co-workers.
    • Together with your team, you focus on putting the customer first in everything you do within the store.
    • You ensure every customer has a shopping experience that exceeds their expectations.
    • You take full responsibility for ensuring your shop is in excellent condition, fully stocked, and always meeting the four merchandising basics (priced, clean, well assembled, and available).
    • Together with your shopkeeper, you take responsibility for department goals, ensuring action plans are clearly defined, communicated, and followed up with appropriate actions.
    • You define your individual contribution and goals to support the delivery of the department plan.
    • You are passionate about IKEA products in your shop, building strong knowledge of their features and benefits and sharing this with customers and your team.
    • You proactively identify opportunities to maximize sales by understanding customers, the local market, and monitoring competitors.
    • You act quickly on commercial opportunities, including product availability (overstock and out of stock) and customer feedback (top 10 frequently asked questions).
    • You and your team actively steer sales towards top-selling products, prioritized products (e.g. overstock/övertag), and IKEA service products to maximize sales and long-term profitability.
