    Your responsibilities

    As a Kitchen Production Manager, you are responsible for securing a safe, high-quality, and joyful food experience for both customers and co-workers, while contributing to the commercial success of IKEA Retail Food.
    You will:
    • Ensure the implementation of global and national compliance, food safety, and legal standards to create a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
    • Secure high food quality, operational excellence, vitality, and reduced food waste through strong processes and ways of working.
    • Lead and manage the food supply chain, including ordering, production planning, and inventory levels, to optimise availability and profitability.
    • Deliver and continuously improve the customer and co-worker restaurant experience, exceeding customer expectations.
    • Ensure retail foundations are in place to strengthen quality perception and commercial performance.
    • Keep the kitchen “in shape as new” by ensuring equipment is well maintained and fully operational.
    • Work closely with the Commercial Restaurant Manager to secure strong commercial results and a seamless food experience.
    • Contribute to the unit business plan and IKEA Retail Food business plan, translating strategies into clear action plans.
    • Lead, coach, and develop a lean, diverse, and high-performing kitchen production team, empowering co-workers to take initiative.
    • Implement people, sustainability, and people & planet positive strategies across all IKEA Retail Food touchpoints.
    • Act as a commercial business partner within the store, contributing to long-term growth, profitability, and brand positioning.
