  • WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    To lead, coach and develop a team of data analysts to provide value creation from data and analytics, and data-driven decision making for the retail areas.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Serve, support and challenge the retail areas with the delivery of analytical insights adhering to the assigned domain’s agenda.
    • Actively drive improvement of data-driven insights and decision-making solutions, driving effectiveness and efficiency in retail and digital.
    • Proactively contribute functional expertise and guidance to the team to ensure the right Data analytics insights are implemented to meet the requirements, contributing hands-on.
    • Provide leadership that promotes best practices by continually benchmarking against industry standards and trends.
    • Lead, coach and develop co-workers to secure people development, leadership, succession and a high performing team.

    • Extensive hands-on knowledge of programming languages and modern data platforms and systems
    • Hands on experience in the application of advanced analytics in addressing and answering business questions
    • Extensive hands-on knowledge of data models (e.g. hierarchical or relational) and common issues related to data quality, and how to improve them
    • Extensive knowledge of stakeholder management
    • Good knowledge of the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people

    • Passionate about the possibilities of Data & Analytics and its value for the business
    • Motivated to stay up to date on the latest developments, tools and technologies of the rapidly changing data and analytics landscape
    • Passionate about leading and coaching people

    • Ability to effectively scope and execute complex projects with ambiguous business needs, large amounts of data, and different data and analytics technologies and approaches
    • Ability to communicate actionable data-evidenced findings to a non-technical business audience in clear and concise language
    • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, coach, network and build strong relationships
    • Ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of Data & Analytics as an integrated part of the business
    • Strong IKEA leadership skills, especially interdependent leadership considering all factors(dependencies, demands, outcomes) to make timely and effective decisions
