    • We at IKEA Cardiff are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team within the Bistro and Restaurant.

    WHAT WE OFFER

    • Start date of employment will be 2nd August 2026
    • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
    • 16, 20 or 24 Hours working 3/4 days per week and 3 out of 4 weekends.sa

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • Previous food experience and customer service experience beneficial, with a readiness to be actively involved in the work.
    • Experience working in an extremely fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritise your work load and carry out tasks that involve occasional heavy lifting.
    • Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
    • Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
    • Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • You could be on our restaurant floor ensuring our customers are having a great dining experience, taking payment at our tills, using our industrial dishwashers that make quick work of mountains of plates and massive pots or in our Swedish Bistro serving up our famous hot dogs.
    • Customer focused, by working together to create the best customer experience. Listen, act, and exceed their expectations every day.
    • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
    • Support your colleagues, lend a hand, and create a positive work environment, contributing to a proud team.
    • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
