    Next to that we believe you will bring:

    • A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role with responsibility for leading and developing people.
    • Experience in retail or a similar commercial environment, with a good understanding of financial and operational processes.
    • Experience in budgeting, business planning and working with profit and loss, including follow-up on performance.
    • Experience in setting and implementing action plans and driving results through clear goals and structured follow-up.
    • Experience in leading different agendas within a team, balancing priorities and securing alignment across functions and stakeholders.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decisions across the organization.
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Fluency in English.

    What you'll be doing day to day

    Purpose of the job
    Lead and inspire a high-performing Business Navigation and Operations team (Business Risk and Compliance, Business Analyst, Procurement ) within the assigned market. Act as a proactive and trustworthy business partner, taking an omnichannel perspective (online and offline), and connecting customer needs with business priorities. Provide a complete overview of the profit & loss of a large unit, enabling informed decision-making and driving sustainable, long-term profitability.

    About the assignment
    • Lead, coach and develop a team of leaders and specialists, promoting individual growth and securing a high-performing team. Ensure talent development, succession planning and a safe, secure and compliant working environment.
    • As part of the management team, evaluate initiatives and processes to contribute to profitable growth, better decision-making and a stronger performance culture. Work closely with the Market Manager, management team and commercial teams, promoting business case thinking and fact-based decisions.
    • Take an active role in the financial business planning process, contributing analysis, insights and identifying development opportunities. Lead the country Business Plan together with the management team, ensuring alignment between financial goals and market priorities.
    • Drive and deliver insights in the monthly forecasting process, ensuring accurate and reliable figures for decision-making. Take ownership of the country P&L, including cost optimization, performance follow-up and scenario planning when needed.
    • Secure long-term profitable growth and financial independence by steering overall business performance in a way that benefits People & Planet. Protect and develop assets, ensuring all investments are based on solid analysis and deliver sustainable business impact.

    We offer a permanent and full-time contract of employment, based in Belgrade, Serbia. In this role, you will be part of Serbian market management team and report to Market Manager.
