Marketing Intern (min 3 months - 6 months)

About the job

As our Marketing Intern, you’ll help us bring the IKEA brand to life for Malaysians – from product launches and local campaigns to social media engagement and in-store activities. You'll support the marketing team in planning and executing campaigns that drive visitation, interest and love for IKEA.

Your assignment

• Assist in planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including store events, digital content and promotional activities.
• Help manage content calendars, track campaign timelines and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
• Support campaign production from ensuring the right product list and internal handling as per process.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to strengthen IKEA’s presence in Malaysia.
• Take care of paperwork, coordination, and any other assigned tasks to support the team’s daily operations.

Your profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Passionate about branding, advertising, and creating great customer experiences.
• Curious, organised and eager to learn how marketing works from strategy to execution.
• A team player who enjoys trends, creative ideas, and making things happen.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop; experience with Adobe Illustrator or any design skill is an added advantage
