  • IKEA Warrington, WA5 7TY, are looking to welcome Customer Order Pickers and Checkers to join our hard-working fulfilment team. In IKEA we call this a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker.

    As a team member in IKEA’s Fulfilment team, you’ll be right in the heart of the action—picking, packing, and prepping orders. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role where teamwork, energy, and a knack for staying organised turn a busy day into a satisfying one.     WHAT WE OFFER

    • Start date of employment will be: 5th October 2026.
    • Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour
    • 24 hours weekly, working 4 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends.
    • 16 hours weekly, working 4 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends.
    • Working hours are between 6am – 10:30pm.
    • We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

    Some shifts for this role will start at 6am. Please be aware that links to the store by public transport may be infrequent. If you will be using public transport to get to the store we ask you to consider your transport route before you apply.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
    • Ability to priorities and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
    • Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
    • This is a physical, hands-on role, which includes picking and checking customer orders, whilst also working to a deadline.
    • Due to Health and Safety Regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • You will be picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online & in store collection or delivery.
    • You will meet the customer when they come to receive their items and/or serving the customer at the sales desk in the warehouse.
    • You will work with our internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times.
    • Ensure products are always available by accurately and promptly completing tasks in the warehouse.
    • Support an efficient returns process by working with teams across the store to ensure returned products are handled accurately and placed in the right location, making them available for customers as quickly as possible.• Tidy & organizing the stock.
    • Commit to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and requirements within your area and actively help colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, building and IKEA products.
    • Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
    • Your priority is the customer experience, focusing on enhancing sales and ensuring stock availability while maintaining an organised, tidy shopping environment and preparing for the next day's deliveries.
