    About the job

    Responsible to lead execution of goods flow processes within my assigned area. Doing this by coaching and working alongside the team members, cooperating with my partners in the commercial team, and coordinating with the rest of the logistics team. The leadership role must commit to the development of the co-workers in your area.

    Your assignment

    • Influence and lead the goods flow co-workers within the assigned area of responsibility to secure the highest goods availability and an excellent customer experience while maintaining the lowest possible cost.
    • Support the Good Flow Manager with identifying, recruiting, retaining and developing the many talents in the goods flow team to secure a diverse, competent team that can execute its assigned responsibilities with confidence and secure future succession.
    • Contribute to positioning IKEA retailers and the IKEA Brand as responsible partners in lowering environmental impact by taking relevant actions that contribute to achieving long term profitability in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. Through your everyday work you contribute to a people and planet positive business, social connection and environmental impact
    • Contribute with relevant goods flow input and feedback to the store business plan and logistics action plan. Ensure that these actions are implemented in the inbound and outbound goods flow processes.
    • Support the Goods Flow Manager to secure an effective, qualitative and efficient goods flow operation within the assigned goods flow processes in order to guarantee an excellent customer shopping experience through quality of products, merchandising and stock accuracy.
    • Work closely with the goods flow team to secure correct usage of short-term capacity of the store in order to maximize efficient logistics operations by considering space, equipment and people.
    • Lead, coach and develop co-workers within the area of responsibility by setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, conducting performance reviews, and creating individual development plans to support both business and personal growth.
    • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and motivating work environment where co-workers feel valued, respected and empowered to contribute their best performance while living the IKEA values
    • Drive employee engagement and team performance by fostering open communication, collaboration, trust and accountability across the goods flow team.
    • Identify and develop future talents and successors through continuous coaching, mentoring, training and cross-functional development opportunities to secure long-term competence and business continuity.
    • Ensure co-workers have the necessary knowledge, skills and resources to perform their tasks efficiently by supporting onboarding, capability development and continuous learning initiatives.
    • Act as a role model for IKEA culture and values, inspiring co-workers through visible leadership, positive behaviors and a customer-focused mindset.
    • Manage workforce planning and scheduling effectively to ensure the right competence is available at the right time while maintaining productivity, wellbeing and operational efficiency.
    • Address performance gaps and employee relations matters professionally and fairly, ensuring compliance with IKEA policies, local regulations and company standards.
    • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by involving co-workers in problem-solving, innovation and operational excellence initiatives.

    Qualification

    Your profile

    • You have at least 2 years of experience working in a retail and or logistics role.
    • You are a problem solver with strong organization and time management skills.
    • You are a strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • You are PC literate and physically fit as the work involves physical work in a warehouse and able to commit on shift work, weekends and public holiday.
    • You are able to commit to working on rotating shifts including on weekends and public holidays
