    You need to be:

    • An experienced currency trader
    - With minimum 4 years’ experience working within a similar sized corporate treasury with a global mandate in a multinational corporation or a financial institution.
    - With good working knowledge of financial markets and FX products.

    • Capable of:
    - Analysing and explaining financial exposures, positions and results relating to complex financial instruments.
    - Validating financial exposures with reference to expectation and past tends and not take exposure levels as given.
    - Dealing with ambiguity and handling comfortably unclear or unpredictable situations.
    - Working well in a high pressure, result oriented dealing room environment.

    • Able to build strong and trusting relationships, collaborate and co-create a better working environment within a global treasury organisation.

    Your responsibilities

    • Validate the forecast end of day liquidity position, by currency, with reference to general trends and expectations of currency positions to identify outliers that would indicate error.

    • Hedge short and long daily currency positions, based on the validated forecast end of day currency position and drain or fund the Euro cash pool daily.

    • Continuously appraise the short-term (1-14days) currency forecasts and group hedging policies, and in doing so, actively manage the short-term currency position of the group.

    • Monitor the developments in external FX and Interest Rate markets especially in term of execution in order to transact in the most optimal and most cost-efficient way.

    • Depending on the pre-determined short term liquidity buffers, invest the drained Euro cash pool in line with policy with external financial institutions.

    • Remediate escalations from back and middle office including rate sets or where relevant allocate and hand over to the relevant Treasury Business Partner.
