    • PURPOSE OF JOB

    At IKEA, we create a better everyday life for the many people. With our IKEA for Business program, we deliver results through an Outbound approach with new business customer acquisition and direct sales from small and medium business customers in the defined customer segments, to create and sustain meaningful relations with business customers virtually, in the store and at customer office/site, understanding the market and competitor landscape to identify key opportunities for IKEA business growth in the assigned store.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    -Deliver and Contribute to the individual IKEA Business commercial result in entrusted customer segments within the area or region of responsibility, ensuring performance with excellence throughout the year;
    -Contribute to the analysis of insights of business customer needs, competitors and market trends, and secure timely monitoring and follow up of all trends to ensure the market penetration tactics are effective and correspond to the market trends as well as customer needs and expectations;
    -Contribute to the realization of IKEA Business Commercial objectives in the assigned customer segments by driving acquisition of new customers, direct sales, facilitating negotiations, concluding the contractual terms with legal interface by collaborating with multiple stakeholders and other IKEA functions;
    -Ensure sales execution together with cross-functional teams within time and with expected quality to ensure high customer satisfaction level;
    -Be the key point of contact for the customers within the portfolio to ensure prevention and solution of complex issues arising during the sales execution to achieve highcustomer satisfaction level and support long-term relationship with the customer.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    -Academic degree or professional qualification in Marketing ,Economics (or equivalent) within your specialist area;
    -Broad knowledge about the local business-to- business (B2B) market environment, requirements and compliance standards in the identified key B2B segments in the local market;
    -Knowledge of how to identify and realise opportunities for add-ons, cross-selling and up-selling of IKEA products and services to fulfil customer needs;
    -Ability to build strong and long-term relationships with customers;
    -Good leadership capabilities including ability to lead peers and stakeholders while communicating in an inspirational way;
    -Ability to prioritise and make decisions with speed and simplicity;
    -Broad knowledge of how to identify and realise opportunities for add-ons, cross-selling and up-selling of IKEA products and services to fulfil customer needs;
    -Minimum one year of experience in Sales/account management;
    -Excellent ability to manage priorities and strong time management skills;
    -Fluent English (spoken and written).


    WHAT WE OFFER

    -Permanent contract classified at Level III under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement for Modern Organized Distribution. The annual gross salary for this position is 27.774,88.
