    For this role we believe you have bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or other related area - Minimum of 12+ years of experience in SAP P2P application operations, design, implementation, and optimization, with a focus on SAP environments. Must have worked in multi-Country implementation / roll out projects. Good written and verbal English communication skills. Good communication and technical writing skills. System (Functional and technical) Support and Maintenance processes set-up, metrics & Service Governance, best practices knowledge in SAP enterprise applications landscape. Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.



    As the SAP P2P SME, your mission is to oversee and provide subject matter expertise and strategic input into P2P functional areas and technologies, contributing to future strategic direction and system selection/deployment decisions. You will play a crucial role in streamlining the processes, driving efficiency, and enhancing collaboration within the organization and with external partners. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing expert-level advice and solutions related to SAP P2P and related areas. You will also provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the operations team and end users.

    You have knowledge in and will be working in the below areas:

    Strong architectural and engineering mindset

    Good understanding of the SAP-concept for modifications and enhancements

    Good SAP functional knowledge in SAP P2P

    Hands on ability to work on enhancements and projects as functional consultant

    Strong understanding of the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) process framework

    Deep understanding of how to utilize advanced SAP administration and troubleshooting techniques to complete complex assignments or to solve difficult problems

    Good understanding of commercial commitments and liabilities

    Experience working in complex enterprise system landscapes and effectively collaborating with cross-functional, multicultural stakeholders”

    Ensure that changes to the service are reviewed & approved by business end users, implemented, communicated to suppliers and are built into contracts as required.

    Manage the “day-to-day” delivery of the contracted services, be accountable for quality and responsible for addressing service failures

    Deciding on the most efficient way to deploy services that are required for specific business scenarios

    Development and maintenance of problem management process, incl. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process

    Assessment of efficiency and effectiveness of problem management

    The ideal candidate will have strong architectural, leadership and technical skills, and the desire to build and lead a team.

    Minimum 12+ years of SAP experience with configuration experience and bachelor’s degree/Master Degree.

    SAP MM/P2P certification is preferred.

    What you'll need to have

    The SME will be accountable for the Finance processes delivery within our digital organisation. Responsible for the management of operations on the SAP P2P area to support the SAP S/4 system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, implementation, and support. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the optimal performance, availability, and security of our SAP landscape.

    Your responsibilities include:

    Act as the P2P functional SME and escalation point for SAP AMS operations.

    Own and support end-to-end SAP P2P processes across SAP S/4HANA/ECC, SAP MM and SAP FI/AP.

    Support procurement processes including:

    Purchase requisitions

    Purchase orders

    Goods receipts

    Service entry sheets

    Invoice verification

    2-way/3-way matching

    Credit/debit memos

    Vendor payments and AP processes

    Analyse and resolve incidents, service requests and production issues within agreed SLAs.

    Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate permanent fixes for recurring incidents.

    Manage Problem Management, including RCA, corrective actions and prevention of recurring issues.

    Support Change Management, enhancements, releases and production deployments.

    Review business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.

    Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP, integration and technical teams.

    Configure SAP MM/P2P functionality where required.

    Coordinate with SAP FI, Ariba, VIM/OpenText, EDI and third-party systems for end-to-end P2P integration.

    Support interfaces involving suppliers, procurement platforms and invoice-processing solutions.

    Lead functional testing, regression testing, UAT and post-production validation.

    Ensure appropriate documentation of solutions, processes, known errors and operational procedures.

    Monitor P2P operational KPIs, SLA performance, incident trends and backlog.

    Identify opportunities for process automation, simplification and continuous improvement.

    Support SAP upgrades, rollouts, migrations and transformation initiatives.

    Work closely with business process owners, procurement, accounts payable, suppliers, service desk, AMS teams and project teams.

    Overseeing and managing the entire P2P process. Responsible for guiding suppliers through the end-to-end P2P cycle, identifying process improvements, guiding suppliers on incident resolution, request resolution, identifying RCAs for problems, contributing and overseeing demands and ensuring effective operations.

    Knowledge of ITSM tools (preferable ServiceNow) to create and work on incidents, problems and requests.

    Contribute and guide suppliers in ensure effective knowledge management process by creating, approving and ensuring P2P specific knowledge articles are created and used effectively.
