Ready to shift IKEA into the next gear and make us even better together?

At IKEA Core Business Range, we’re on an ambitious journey to transform our digital capabilities. By embracing the power of data and technology, we aim to integrate these opportunities across our business, ensuring that IKEA continues to be the world’s most affordable, sustainable, and accessible home furnishing retailer. In an ever-evolving omnichannel environment, bringing people, processes, data, and technology closer together is essential. Collaboration will be at the heart of everything we do as we work to achieve our strategic goals.

We’re seeking Business Analysts to join our passionate and innovative team. At Range, we thrive on finding smarter, more efficient ways of working—and that’s where you come in. We need someone with exceptional analytical skills, experience in requirement management, and the ability to turn complex insights into simple, actionable recommendations.

The Role:

As a Business Analyst within Data & Technology Range, you’ll contribute to several Digital Product Areas, such as Product Engineering, Range Management, Commercial, Range Interaction, and Range Experience. Each of these areas is responsible for critical capabilities that enable us to ideate, develop, produce, and sell IKEA products to our customers.

Currently, we are particularly interested in Business Analysts experienced in the Digital Product Area Range, where you’ll define, develop, and manage the capabilities that drive range and product development.

Your key areas of focus will include:

  • Product Information Management (PIM): Be part of the exciting journey to transform our Product Information Management system. You’ll play a critical role in building a new system while navigating the complexities of co-existing with our current setup—helping bridge the gap between the old and the new.

  • Portfolio and Project Management (PPM): support our ability to monitor track and control the product development process, both when it comes to news and planned improvements in the IKEA range. Manage projects in portfolio throughout their lifecycle.

In this role, you’ll analyze business needs and define digital product requirements (applications, data, integration, and processes). You’ll share your findings and insights with key decision-makers, influencing both strategic and operational business decisions. You’ll also need to balance multiple projects simultaneously, making strong multitasking abilities essential. Best of all, you’ll join a fun, collaborative, and challenge-loving team that is always ready to tackle the next big thing together.

Qualification

To succeed in this role, we expect you to:

  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and models, managing these throughout the lifecycle of a project.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders, developers, and other teams to facilitate effective collaboration.

  • Analyze and structure information simply, focusing on key elements to drive decision-making.

  • Contribute to testing and implementation, ensuring solutions meet agreed-upon business requirements.

  • Listen actively, grasp both the big picture and finer details, and contribute to strategic decisions that help grow and shape our business.

Is this the opportunity you’ve been waiting for? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today and become part of a team that is driving real change.
