Ready to shift IKEA into the next gear and make us better, together?

At IKEA Core Business Range, we’re embarking on an exciting journey to transform our digital capabilities. By embracing the power of data and technology, we’re integrating these opportunities into our business processes to ensure that IKEA continues to be the most affordable, sustainable, and accessible home furnishing retailer in an omnichannel world. To do this, we’re bringing people, processes, data, and technology closer than ever before. Collaboration is key to reaching our strategic goals while keeping the totality of IKEA in mind.

We’re looking for Business Analysts to join our passionate, forward-thinking team. At Range, we’re always striving to find smarter, more efficient ways of working, and we need you to help us do that. We’re searching for someone with top-notch analytical skills, solid experience in requirements management, and the ability to translate complex insights into simple, actionable recommendations.

About the Role:

As a Business Analyst within Data & Technology Range, you’ll work in one of several Digital Product Areas such as Product Engineering, Range Management, Commercial, Range Interaction, and Range Experience. These areas play a critical role in ideating, developing, and delivering our IKEA products to customers. Right now, we have a specific need for Business Analysts with experience in Digital Product Area Engineering, where you’ll help create consistent, efficient processes that support product development and supplier collaboration. You’ll also contribute to building a solid foundation for IKEA product information to be utilized throughout our global value chain.

Current assignments are within:

  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM): Be part of our ongoing PLM transformation, focusing on part structure management, compliance, verification management, and requirements management. Experience with the Windchill platform is a big benefit.

  • Compliance Management: This is how we stay relevant and compliant in all markets globally. Support making sure we follow the legal requirements in the world, building a structure and digital landscape to support it.

  • Label Management: Join our growing Label area, which is responsible for ensuring the accurate and effective markings on our products and packaging.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to analyze business needs and identify digital product requirements (applications, data, integration, and processes). You’ll provide insights and share recommendations with decision-makers, influencing strategic and operational business decisions. You’ll also need to juggle multiple projects simultaneously—so being able to multitask is a must. Best of all, you’ll join a dynamic, fun-loving team that thrives on tackling challenges together.

Qualification

To succeed in this role, we expect you to:

  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and models, managing these throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Build trust and strong relationships with stakeholders, developers, and other collaborators to drive effective communication and teamwork.

  • Analyze and simplify information, focusing on key aspects to make decision-making easier and more impactful.

  • Contribute to testing and implementation, ensuring solutions are delivered according to agreed business requirements.

  • Listen actively, grasp both the big picture and intricate details, and help shape strategic decisions that drive our business forward.

Is this your next big career move? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today and be part of a team that’s making a real impact.
