  • Are you a results-oriented leader with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for turning data into measurable marketing outcomes? If you have a proven track record of improving marketing ROI, driving performance across channels, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed retail environment, we would love to meet you.

    Our team within IKEA

The Growth & Marketing function drives IKEA’s business results by identifying growth opportunities, targeting the right customers across channels, and delivering insight-led marketing that builds the brand, attracts and retains customers, grows loyalty, and increases market share.

As the Marketing Performance Leader, you will report into the Head of Marketing ANZ, and lead the development and implementation of IKEA’s marketing performance approach. You will use data, customer insight and commercial understanding to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing activities. You will ensure objectives and investments are grounded in clear performance insight and that learnings are captured and scaled across commercial and marketing teams. You will:
    • Define and maintain the Marketing Performance Framework including KPIs, attribution approaches, evaluation standards and dashboards.
    • Drive performance analysis of paid, owned media to optimise media mix and maximise return on investment – leading econometrics for the function.
    • Drive campaign testing, incrementality and attribution work to understand the true impact of marketing investments.
    • Lead post-activity reviews and share learnings across local and global stakeholders to improve content, media and measurement.
    • Steer the marketing planning process to align objectives, investments and KPIs with business goals and seasonal priorities.
    • Ensure marketing technology, tagging and data integrations are fit for measurement and partner with analytics, IT and external vendors to resolve gaps.
    • Act as a member of the Marketing Management team and contribute to a culture of transparency, continuous improvement and collaboration.

    Together as a team

You are hands-on in your approach, and highly analytical and strategic - turning insights into measurable performance. You combine technical expertise in analytics and marketing technology with strong stakeholder influence and leadership skills. You are curious about customer behaviour, focused on continuous improvement and motivated by increasing customer value and business growth through evidence-based decision making.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, business, statistics, data science or a related field to provide a strong foundation for measurement and analysis.
    • Significant experience in performance marketing, marketing analytics or media planning to demonstrate practical ability to improve campaign ROI and media mix.
    • Proven track record of designing and operating measurement frameworks, dashboards and attribution/testing approaches to enable consistent performance tracking and decision making.
    • Strong data analysis skills and experience translating large datasets into clear, actionable recommendations that deliver business value.
    • Proven stakeholder management and influencing capability to drive cross-functional alignment and ensure recommended actions are implemented.
    • Practical knowledge of marketing technology and analytics stacks (for example tag management, web analytics, ad platforms, CDP) to identify gaps and work with technical teams on solutions.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to tell the story behind the data and influence senior and commercial stakeholders.

    We need people like you!

At IKEA, work is so much more than a job!
