  • Who you are

Are you passionate about driving value through digital services and ensuring that portfolios are aligned with business needs and priorities? Do you enjoy working in complex environments where you balance strategy, structure, and collaboration to create clarity and impact? If yes – keep reading, this might be your next role!

We are looking for a Service Portfolio Leader to join IKEA Group Digital. In this role, you will take end-to-end responsibility for a service portfolio, ensuring that it delivers value, is aligned with business priorities, and evolves over time. Our diverse team is growing, and we would love to talk with you, if you recognize yourself in some of the following:

    • Define and own the multi-year technology roadmap across the service portfolio — balancing business value, cost, risk, capacity, and dependencies
    • Translate business ambition and strategic priorities into clear, sequenced, and actionable roadmaps that are visible and honest across all stakeholder levels
    • Lead annual planning cycles — consolidating inputs, aligning priorities, and making trade-offs explicit rather than implicit
    • Shape portfolio strategy in close partnership with business and digital leadership, ensuring technology investments are purposeful and outcome-driven
    • Drive structured prioritization frameworks across competing demands—balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term platform sustainability
    • Operate comfortably at enterprise level, holding a holistic view across architecture, platforms — SF, Avature, SmartRecruiters, OpenText, SNOW HRSD — software, operations, and emerging technology trends, while staying grounded in delivery realities
    • Lead platform decision-making for major platform changes, integrations, and new capability investments — balancing innovation with pragmatism
    • Identify and address technical debt proactively, embedding it into roadmap planning as a first-class priority
    • Ensure architectural coherence across platforms and integrations—preventing fragmentation and enabling a connected, scalable technology backbone

Furthermore, we believe that you bring:

    • Extensive experience leading technology roadmaps or portfolios at enterprise scale, including consolidation, prioritization, tracking, and reporting across multiple domains.
    • Demonstrated authority in solution and enterprise architecture, with the ability to design and govern scalable, end-to-end solutions aligned to business strategy.
    • Strong senior stakeholder leadership skills and a proven ability to advise, influence, and negotiate with executive-level business and digital leaders.
    • Comfort operating in ambiguity and change, keeping focus on long-term business outcomes while adapting roadmaps and architecture as conditions evolve.

A day in your life with us

As a Service Portfolio Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that services within your portfolio are aligned with business priorities and deliver value over time. You will work closely with stakeholders across business and digital teams to create transparency, prioritization, and continuous improvement of services. You will also play a key role in defining ways of working, enabling better decision-making, and ensuring that services evolve in line with changing needs.

    You will:

    • Own and develop the service portfolio, ensuring alignment with business priorities
    • Create transparency around services, dependencies, and value delivery
    • Drive prioritization and decision-making related to the portfolio
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and digital to ensure alignment
    • Identify improvement areas and translate them into structured initiatives
    • Support governance, frameworks, and ways of working for service management
    • Enable continuous improvement and follow-up on performance and outcomes
    • Facilitate discussions and align stakeholders across teams and functions
    • Contribute to building scalable and consistent ways of working

    Together as a team

You will be part of Group Digital, where we set up the digital agenda to keep IKEA relevant in a fast-changing world. We develop and operate digital products and services that support the entire IKEA value chain.

You will work within the Digital Area – Group Functions. The Digital Area – Group Functions is a new area built to strengthen digital partnership and delivery across all Group Functions and Global Business Operations (GBO). This helps us develop and deliver digital capabilities across key areas like Finance, People & Culture, Procurement, Legal, Business Risk & Compliance, Communications, Real Estate, Business Steering, SD&I, and GBO. It will bring together technology, processes, and people to deliver a high-performing, sustainable, and low-cost Ingka.

    We can offer you:

    - A key role shaping and developing service portfolios at scale
    - Opportunity to work with both strategy and execution in a global environment
    - A collaborative and supportive team with strong expertise
    - Opportunities to grow and develop within digital and leadership
    - A flexible and friendly work environment

    Apply now!

We review applications continuously, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

The position is based in either Malmo or Helsingborg, Sweden. At IKEA, we believe we are at our best when we are physically together, collaborating, sharing ideas, and building connections through everyday interactions. We therefore spend the majority of our time in the workplace, while offering flexibility to work from home when relevant.

In this recruitment there is no relocation support provided by IKEA, hence we are looking for people living in the mentioned location.
