    Additional Information:
    • This role is Permanent, Full-time 76hrs/fortnight
    • The internal job title is Shopkeeper
    • The availability required for this role is 8:30am to 5:30pm, weekdays and alternating weekends.
    • This role is based in IKEA Planning Studio, inside the HomeCo. Belrose Shopping Centre, NSW 2085.

    About this work area

    We are looking for a commercially driven and customer-focused person to lead the performance, development, and growth of our custom-made kitchens, appliances, and specialised kitchen products across in our Plan and Order Point in Belrose, Sydney.

    • In this role, you will drive our kitchen sales agenda, strengthen range competence, and ensure our offer continues to meet customer needs while delivering strong commercial results.
    • Managing the range of custom-made kitchens, appliances, and unique kitchen articles.
    • Driving the kitchen sales program in line with country goals and action plans.
    • Providing range expertise across the matrix structure to support the commercial calendar and agenda.
    • Analysing current and future trends to identify and optimise commercial opportunities.
    • Conducting competitor analysis and delivering recommendations to support business objectives.
    • Forecasting sales and reporting on key performance metrics and results.
    • Partnering with media and sales channels to drive customer visitation and purchasing frequency.
    • Facilitating learning and development through training programs, workshops, coaching, and on-the-job mentoring.



    As ​Shopkeeper​ you are or have:
    • Commercially minded and a proven track record in driving results, with a strong customer focus.
    • Proven experience working in a fast-paced retail/commercial environment.
    • Demonstrated experience in a customer-led business, delivering a positive end-to-end experience.
    • Skilled in active selling by understanding customer needs and recommending relevant solutions.
    • Genuine interest in people’s everyday life at home and home furnishing.
    • Adaptable and flexible, with a positive approach to change.
    • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    Confident decision-maker who takes initiative and acts with accountability.
