IKEA Industry has more than 30 production units, across 18 sites in 7 countries: Poland, Slovakia, Portugal, Sweden, Lithuania, China and Hungary. IKEA Industry Manufacturing Area Wood Panels and Component produces solid wood furniture and furniture components for the IKEA supply chain and retail organization. Manufacturing Area Wood Panels operates 5 manufacturing sites in Poland.  The Wielbark Site is one of the largest productions sites in Wood Panels with a Sawmill, Glue-board Factory, and  Furniture Factory with approximately 1500 co-workers.


Job description

About the Role

  • As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing the finance processes within IKEA Industry Wielbark. Together with the Wielbark Management Team, you will contribute to the site’s strategic, tactical, and operational plans, including the implementation and follow-up of related actions, to ensure that the site is high-performing and contributes in all dimensions to IKEA's directions and strategies.

You will also:

  • Lead and develop a competent, learning, and high-performing Finance function and create a work environment where IKEA values and culture are a living reality.
  • Be involved in investments for production equipment, support the organization with models for profitability and cost analysis, and work closely with other functions at the Wielbark site as well as enabling functions across IKEA Industry.
  • Take the responsibility that the site complies with finance-related legal requirements, including managing budgets, business plans, investments, and fulfilling monthly and yearly reporting obligations.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and manuals and oversee the implementation of IKEA security requirements. Control the creation, maintenance, and updating of local procedures and working methods to ensure they are well-known within the organization.
  • Actively contribute to the business success of the whole Industry and Supply organisation as well as other parts of IKEA. 
  • Creating additional value through appropriate analyses of the current business situation and advising the management on the best solutions.

 


Qualification

About You

You have strong abilities to continuously develop and improve Financial and Business Control processes for business optimization, coupled with good analytical skills and common sense. Your knowledge in supply chain management, IT and business systems, tax, and treasury is an asset, along with your effective change management skills.
