  • Who you are

    As a Customer Support co-worker, you optimise the customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction by using your knowledge of the IKEA product range and services. Your task is to support every customer by providing quick and simple solutions to straightforward inquiries.
    Throughout the call, you document the relevant customer information so IKEA can improve its business and customer experience.

    • You are highly communicative, well-organised, and enjoy interacting with customers.
    • You already have experience in customer service, sales, or in a call centre.
    • You enjoy speaking multiple languages daily, have excellent language skills in French and German (at least C1 level, spoken and written), and you also speak English.
    • You work independently and like taking responsibility.
    • You’re passionate about creating a positive shopping experience for customers.
    • You are flexible with working hours (Monday to Saturday) and open to change.
    • You’re comfortable using a PC and various systems, and you have experience with social media

    Your responsibilities

    • Your goal is customer satisfaction. You advise existing customers responsibly via phone, written channels, and our social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook).
    • You build strong relationships with customers through empathy and helpfulness, working to find satisfying solutions for them.
    • You support customers in different languages with their questions and problems and strive to provide the best possible service before, during, and after the purchase.
    • You assist the team with administrative tasks to ensure an optimal service experience for our customers.
    • You balance customer expectations with our internal service-level goals by handling each case efficiently and effectively.
    • You review and document customer information in our system with great attention to detail and a strong sense of trust.
    • You offer additional purchase options by informing customers about our wide range of products and services.
