    About the job

    To create inspiring store solutions for an easy and convenient shopping experience and increasing vitality by translating deep knowledge about consumer buying behaviour, store layout, range presentation and local market knowledge.

     

    Your assignment

    • You have to be able to use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the uniqueness of IKEA identity in range presentation solutions in store by working with optimizing store layout.
    • You have to developing and implementing efficient and effective store communication, supporting self-choice and self-serve. You can learn and understanding people needs and want their living situations in local market as well as their shopping behavior.
    • You will show the creating visual impact in all commercial area, specialty shops, compacts, studios, self-serve furniture and activity area which exceeds our visitor’s expectations.
    • Working with other functions on commercial calendar activities, using the media to ensure vitality in all areas in and outside the store, throughout the year.
    • Using visual merchandising competences and display techniques in specialty shops, compacts, studios, self-service, activity areas and IKEA food market and secure high quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost consciousness in planning and implementing all range presentation solutions.
    • Creating trust in IKEA by presenting and communicating solutions for a sustainable life at home. You have to working with the Interior Designer and the Graphic Communication to ensure consistency in how we communicate throughout the store.

    Qualification

    Your profile

    • You must have minimum 2 years working experience as visual merchandiser from retail companies or industrial design education qualification.
    • You should be able to plan, present, and implement the range. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can speak and understand English.
    • You will demonstrate the brand identity in a large space, using the architectural elements of the build to create an aesthetically pleasing environment and support the visual identity.
    • You have a good analytical skill, can prioritise and organise work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of time available
