    • IKEA Gateshead are looking to welcome a Sales Assistant to join their Activities team.


    WHAT WE OFFER

    • The Start Date of employment will be the 1st of February.
    • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
    • 12 Hours working 3/4 days per week, mainly evening until 22:00pm and weekends shifts including 3 out of 4 weekends.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • You have a forward thinking mindset, are capable of working on multiple tasks and appreciate being part of the team but also can work with minimum supervision.
    • You have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer know they are valued and supported in everything you do.
    • You are collaborative, make clear decisions, and use your initiative daily.
    • You prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time in fast-paced environment available with strong attention to detail.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Support the implementation of seasonal range changes throughout the store.
    • Act quickly on commercial opportunities; change the availability of products, overstocks and out of stocks.
    • You support maximising sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
    • You are always interested in the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
