Job description
We are looking for a Fulfilment Service Manager who will ensure that IKEA Thailand delivers high performing service operations, with focus on operational excellence, exceeding the customers’ expectations. You will be responsible for our service business, including all relevant sourcing projects and initiatives in the country.
- Support our stores and service providers with having all pre-requisites in place for excellence in execution of all services, while ensuring quality and efficiency to secure the lowest possible operational cost. This includes leading sourcing projects and initiatives on a country level.
- Commercial responsibility for the implementation of all service business contracts. In collaboration with our stores and service providers, ensure scalable operations that meet our future capacity requirements. Share input/feedback to contribute to continued improvement.
- Contribute to the best possible customer shopping experience by securing high quality and efficient service operations are carried out with a customer focus in mind.
- Secure a seamless cooperation with an effective communication flow between stores, relevant internal stakeholders and external service providers.
- Secure that sustainability is integrated in all processes with a high level of awareness within the IKEA service teams and external service providers.
- Ensure compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety, security and the environment. For external service providers, monitor and provide feedback to ensure their operations are in alignment with IKEA standards.
- Responsible for capturing and sharing best practices, creating synergies, enabling common ways of working, monitoring relevant performance and by initiating/supporting corrective actions in case of deviations.
Qualification
- You have a passion for logistics and working in a fast paced, constantly changing retail environment
- You are driven to achieve goals through people and can contribute to improving our everyday work with ideas and improvements
- You know the pre-requisites for efficient and effective transport/services operations and can coach and develop others on this. I know how to lead based on performing and delivering through team/stakeholder engagement.
- You know how services influence the customer shopping experience and can support business growth across all sales channels and touch points.
- You can build trust and communicate in a clear and targeted way with different people in different situations. I know how to build strong business relationships to meet mutually agreed goals.
- You deliver and make things happen with speed, simplicity and flexibility even in unpredictable situations. I follow up and optimize operational performance while considering tactical plans.
- You understand the IKEA tendering, procurement and contract negotiation processes.
- You know and commit to the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety and security.
