    We are looking for a Purchaser for Belgium on a permanent contract within Group Procurement. We offer an exciting opportunity to join the Procurement organisation at Ingka. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering business value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and close collaboration with stakeholders across the business.

    · Experience in supplier management and supplier development.

    · Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and one of the local languages (FR or NL)

    · Good knowledge of the IKEA business model, strategic landscape, and ways of working.

    · Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices, processes, and methodologies.

    · Good understanding of the indirect procurement industry and Belgium market conditions.

    · Experience working with project management methods and processes.

    · Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.

    · Good understanding of commercial and contractual matters.

    · Knowledge of cost drivers and value creation opportunities.

    · A genuine commitment to IKEA values and vision.

    · Knowledge of the SAP Ariba Source-to-Pay process is considered an advantage.

    Building and maintaining strong partnerships with business owners to align priorities, drive performance, and deliver results.

    · Leading sourcing projects in accordance with the Source-to-Pay process and SAP Ariba.

    · Conducting negotiations that optimise total cost and maximise value.

    · Driving supplier management and supplier performance, while ensuring compliance with IWAY and the IKEA Code of Conduct.

    · Monitoring supplier markets and industry trends and providing insights.

    · Collaborating across functions and markets to deliver business priorities.

    · Implementing and communicating procurement strategies, category plans, and strategic directions.

    · Delivering value-added procurement solutions that meet business and customer needs.
