    • Are you looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? We are seeking Warehouse Assistants to join our Fulfilment team in IKEA Belfast.     WHAT WE OFFER

    • Start Date of employment will be: 21st or 22nd February 2026
    • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour

    Various contract sizes and working patterns noted below, we operate 7 days per week including evenings and weekends.

    •Warehouse Teams 12,16,18,20,24 & 30 hour contracts
    •Replenishment Team 18 hours per week between 4am-10am with a night-shift allowance of £2.25 between 4am-6am
    •Order Picking Team; 18 hours per week between 6am-8:30pm

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, all you will need is the enthusiasm to thrive in an active workplace.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work with IT systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
    • Ensure you are prepared to initiate tasks on your own initiative and to participate productively in group efforts.
    • Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Manual handling of heavy stock.
    • Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
    • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
    • Ensure stock is available to meet the needs of our in-store and online customers.
    • Picking and preparing orders for both online and in-store collection or delivery.
    • Support customers in the self-service area of the warehouse, ensuring stock is organized and available while collaborating with other departments across the store.
