    • IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team.

    If you are looking for a role where you get to use your active selling skills to help co-create the wonderful everyday with our many in-store guests, we would be happy to hear from you. This role calls for someone who is motivated, customer-focused and comfortable providing friendly and helpful service to customers.

    We have 12-hour contracts working across our Showroom and Market Hall.

    WHAT WE OFFER
    • The group assessment centre will be on Tuesday, 16 June in-store, in the evening.
    • Start date of employment will be Saturday, 04 July.
    • Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
    • Availability to work two 6-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays is required. This is a weekend contract.
    • These are permanent contracts where you will be working throughout the year, including the holiday periods.

    • You are professional, make clear decisions, and use your initiative daily.
    • You prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.

    • You help customers enjoy a positive shopping experience by approaching them, learning what they need, and suggesting helpful options for their home.
    • You are always committed to the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
    • You contribute to sales growth by maintaining a clean area, making sure every product is priced, and keeping displays attractive and simple to navigate.
