  • JOB PORPUSE AND ROLE

    The main responsibilities are ensuring customer satisfaction using and implementing Sales steering, selling according to the IKEA Way. Provide a convenient and successful shopping experience, leading to increased sales and long-term sustainable profitability. Act with leadership across the team, ensuring profitable business development, optimizing sales and profits across departments through follow-up actions, analysis and support.

    • Broad knowledge of the HFB range and services and how to identify and realise opportunities for add-ons, cross-selling and up- selling of IKEA products and services to fulfil customer needs.
    • Sales location management/sales space capacity and articles forecasting.
    • Be a role model of the IKEA values and contribute to the transformation of IKEA.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Demonstrate complete understanding of department action plans and goal, and how the team can contribute to department goal and propose actions that can help IKEA in meeting the customer in the best possible way.
    • Actively approach customer who require additional help, identifying their needs by asking the right questions and advise them on the best solutions for their homes to exceed their expectations.
    • Encourage the team to actively sales steer the department’s top-selling products, prioritised products, and IKEA service products to maximise sales and long-term profitability.
    • Analyse and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters (sales location management) to secure high stock availability.
    • Secure that all information within the area of expertise, both for co-worker and for customer, are relevant and up to date in all information sources.
    • Share specialist knowledge of the IKEA tools, processes, and cycles to secure a high level of competence within the team and secure pricing process.
