Additional information:
• These roles are Permanent Part-time 60hrs/fortnight.
• The internal job title for this role is Fulfilment Operations Co-worker.
• We operate 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a spread of hours from starting from 3:00am to finishing time of 11:00am. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday consecutively).
• To be considered for the role you must have a valid Forklift License.

About this work area

As a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker (Forklift) your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Receiving containers and unloading them using a counterbalance forklift. Locating pallets using a reach truck.
• Picking and loading the daily replenishment for the store.
• Replenishing your assigned area to ensure it is fully stocked.
• Using inventory systems to ensure stock availability is as accurate as possible.
• Demonstrating a safe and efficient approach to secure that all stock is in the right place at the right time.
• Working with a hands-on approach in a fast paced and physically demanding team environment with tight deadlines.
• Ensuring IKEA SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) rules and guidelines are followed throughout the process to ensure the safety of yourself and your co-workers.



As a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker (Forklift) you are or have:
• Experience in driving forklifts (high reach & counterbalance) and hold a valid forklift (LF) licence or be willing to obtain one.
• A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently.
• The ability to think and act in a safe and efficient manner, to ensure smooth fulfilment operations.
• Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A safe mindset, and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling, including repetitive lifting.
