    As the Country Digital Operations Manager for IKEA Australia & New Zealand, you will lead the Country Digital Operations function to drive market digitalisation. You will secure a stable, proactive, and experience-led digital foundation, aligned with overall business objectives. You will foster strong partnerships through close collaboration with country & global stakeholders to ensure an outstanding omnichannel experience for IKEA customers. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
    • Leading a team of leaders and co-workers to ensure market digitalisation is both fit for purpose and fit for the future, aligned with specific market needs.
    • Accountable for the proactive, experience-led operations of the digital foundation within the country throughout its entire lifecycle.
    • Driving efficient and effective digital foundation products and services by collaborating across their complete lifecycle with relevant stakeholders in both country and central organisations, ensuring current and future needs are thoroughly considered.
    • Collaborating strategically with stakeholders to foster aligned ways of working across Ingka, promoting simple and cost-efficient digital operations, while meticulously safeguarding forecasts, follow-ups, budgets, and resources in line with the market-level implementation roadmap.
    • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of leaders and co-workers, ensuring a clear understanding of the overall vision, direction, delivery process, and responsibilities, while also identifying objectives, monitoring progress, and implementing solutions to enhance team performance.



    You bring deep knowledge of efficient and cost-conscious strategic, tactical, and operational planning, alongside a strong understanding of leading change processes at all levels. Your expertise in Digital systems, managing technology's impact on IKEA, delivering tech projects, service management, and continuous improvement frameworks is significant. You have strong leadership capabilities, adept at managing multiple priorities in a complex stakeholder landscape, and excellent communication skills for building relationships. You have a proven ability to lead and take responsibility during times of change, always with business goals, customers, and co-workers in focus, and possess strong people skills to motivate teams towards common goals.

    To be considered for this role you will have:
    • Minimum 4 years of managerial experience.
    • A university degree with a focus on Engineering, Technology, or related areas, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Demonstrable experience operating in a multi-speed IT delivery environment and with related frameworks such as ITIL, SAFe, etc.
    • Proven experience in change management, digital transformation, and working in a rapidly changing environment.

    Additional information:
    • Permanent, full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
    • Location for the role is IKEA Service Office, Tempe, NSW.
    • As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates. If you are successful for this role, you will be required to obtain a national police check.
