Additional Information:
• This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
• The internal title for this role is Fulfilment Operations Team Leader.
• This role requires availability to work Monday to Sunday, shift times will range from 6:00am- 9:30pm.
• As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
• As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates
• If you are successful for this role, you will be required to obtain a National Police Check.
About this work area
As Fulfilment Operations Team Leader your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Managing and supporting the day-to-day operations, activities and co-workers of the Goods Flow team including rostering, breaks, and ensuring KPIs are communicated and achieved throughout the team.
• Ensuring that yourself and the co-workers around you possess a safety mindset, work in compliance with the internal IKEA regulations, standard operating procedures and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and the environment.
• Planning, organising and monitoring the logistics operations, ensuring co-workers are aware of their responsibilities and processes are complete on time.
• Secure recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning and competence development of the team.
• Ensuring co-workers are actively supported in their daily work and you actively develop, coach and mentor your team through set reviews and on the job conversations.
• Secure effective, qualitative and efficient daily goods flow operation in order to guarantee customer shopping experience through quality of products, merchandising and stock accuracy.
As Fulfilment Operations Team Leader you are:

To be considered for this role, experience & qualities in the following are heavily preferred
• Retail and/or fulfilment experience with a proven track record in managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and optimising supply chain processes.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to lead teams, set clear priorities, delegate tasks effectively, and provide constructive feedback when performance managing.
• A business-minded approach with a customer focus. Experience in developing and implementing strategies to meet sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and manage budgets.
• Flexibility and adaptability with the willingness to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, having a proactive approach to driving operational improvements and embracing change.
