Your assignment

• Supporting the Phuket store Manager and IFB manager, you seek to strengthen the IKEA Food & Beverages Concept in ensuring IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store in our local market.
• You ensure efficient operations of the IKEA Restaurant by overseeing the preparation and serving of food that enhance visitor experience.
• Constantly following up on the quality and food safety regulations, you ensure a safe environment for all in accordance with prevailing local health and safety regulations and HACCP standards.
• Lastly, you are responsible for the efficient cost management and financial performance of the Restaurant section, including gross profit/costs, man hour planning, and productivity levels. You will also seek continuous improvement in managing operational costs, sales mix and inventory optimization of your business area.
• Leading the team, recruit and develop co-workers in accordance with the IKEA values.
• Together with the store manager, IFB manager and other team members, you are an active contributor in achieving the IFB standards set in the operational and commercial goal.
• Develop or create the smoothen process among stores and vendors. Make sure all the standard operation are in place. Seeking opportunities to improve the process according to the issues or opportunities.
• Together with  local marketing to create store vitality by store activities, seasonality range to gain more visitors.

Your profile

• You have a solid background or 2 years’ experience in food service management, and a strong passion in retail and food service industry.
• Being customer focused, analytical and good interpersonal skills come naturally for you. You are fluent in English and have good knowledge of PC skills. You are also cost-conscious and know that everything has a price tag.
• You have proven leadership abilities and can create an environment where you motivate, develop and bring out the best in your co-workers.
• You can create an environment embracing the IKEA values and diversity of co-workers and visitors.
• Computer literacy, good interpersonal skills and English language proficiency is a must.
• You can create the bride of communication among store and all vendors to help better and clearer communication.
• Experience in Food safety, food audit, HACCP
